As a result, in 2016, Dragon Quest Builders was released, in which the hero-builder in the cubic world of the dragon quest erects buildings and kills monsters. The players liked this concept so much, there were so many positive reviews that the developers did not dare to stop there. And in 2018, the second part was born.

So what is Dragon Quest Builders 2? This is such an adventure in the square world with the ability to create anything from the blocks and anywhere. We play for a certain builder, gender and appearance, which we will be given to choose at the very beginning. Then we find ourselves on the ship as a prisoner, where we wake up from a strange sleep. He does not remember who he is and from where he came, but enthusiastically decides to help in adventures. And a little later we catch the only surviving from the ship – Lula – a girl with a difficult character. From this moment, great adventures, funny battles, construction and friendship between these three begin. But about everything in order.
The place where the protagonist throws up is called the island of awakening and he becomes our home, where we will hone skills and imagination. True, at first it looks an extremely dull place, and it will not work to correct this state of affairs at once. For this we need resources and tools. And as if knowing about our needs, a small boat of some traveler is moored to the shore. His name is even funny – captain of the brown -breed. This responsive small one is ready to send us to neighboring islands for everything necessary, which we use.
A little about gameplay
Unlike Maincraft there is its own history and a very specific goal. During their adventures, the builder and Malrot will visit three large islands and many small. They do not take Lula with them, since she chose to stay on the island of awakening, but do not worry, she will still have time to make her contribution. Each large island will have a separate plot and limited possibilities. All of them are the protection of local people from monsters from the Order of the Children of Hargon, as well as the study of new opportunities. Each adventure, although it has a certain same structure, but in fact it is absolutely different from the rest. History is positioned as a certain analogue of the tutorial, stretched for 60 hours of clean and uncomplicated gameplay, after which we will be allowed to create, build and destroy us on all four sides. We must pay tribute to the developers, they tried to make it so that it was interesting and useful to explore new places. Each island is cursed with secrets, bosses and just interesting items. I even noticed as a rake and break the abandoned hut, because I won’t get furniture or interior details at this stage, and I really want to use them for construction.
